Privacy policy

Panda Sit keeps your meditation library on your devices and, when enabled, in your private Apple iCloud account.

What the app stores

Panda Sit stores the audio you import, artwork, titles, teachers, tags, chapters, folders, favorites, downloads, playback position, and timer preferences. These are used to organize and play your recordings and remember your choices.

No separate Panda Sit account is required. The app contains no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDK.

iCloud sync

When you use iCloud sync, your library data and original audio are sent to Apple’s CloudKit service in your private iCloud account. Apple processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not operate a separate server that receives your meditation library.

Your Apple Account controls access to iCloud. We do not receive your Apple Account password. Local imports and the meditation timer work without a separate app account.

Sharing you choose

Sharing is optional. When you share a recording or folder, Panda Sit packages a separate copy of the selected audio, artwork, chapters, metadata, and folder structure. Your playback progress and favorites are not included.

An iCloud share is stored with Apple and managed through Apple’s sharing controls. Sending a file uses the destination you choose in the system share sheet. Recipients can import independent copies; revoking a link does not delete copies they have already imported.

Widgets

The app shares a small local playback snapshot and artwork with its Home Screen widget through an App Group on your device. This enables the recent-meditation display and playback controls.

Support

If you email support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and resolve problems. Please avoid including private recordings or account credentials. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing support@pandasit.com.

Your choices and deletion

You can remove downloaded copies, delete recordings from your library, and manage shared links in the app. Deleting a meditation removes it from your synced Panda Sit library but does not alter the original file in Files or independent copies held by recipients. Device backups and iCloud storage are also subject to your Apple settings.

This website

This website does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Our hosting providers may process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information, and access logs to deliver and secure the website. Links to other services are governed by those services’ policies.
