Make yourself at home.
Getting started with Panda Sit, from your first quiet minute to a library that feels like yours.
Start with a sit
Open Self-guided sit, choose a duration, and tap Begin sit. Use the bell settings to add interval bells or a little time to settle in. You can lock your screen while the timer runs.
Bring your recordings
Tap +, then Import audio, and choose recordings from Files. MP3, M4A, and M4B are supported. If a file lives in iCloud Drive, it may need to download first. Panda Sit copies the audio without re-encoding it.
Are guided meditations included?
The timer and bowl bell are included. The guided library starts empty so you can bring the recordings you own or have permission to use. The examples on this website and in the App Store are sample recordings.
How do I organize my library?
Create folders from the + menu. Use a recording’s context menu or the Edit selection controls to move recordings, edit details, and mark favorites. Folders can contain other folders. Search by title, teacher, tag, or folder.
How do chapters work?
Supported embedded chapter markers appear in the player. The timer shows the current chapter. Choose continuous playback or pause after each chapter. The previous button first returns to the start of the current chapter, then to the previous one.
Can I listen offline?
Yes. Imported recordings are stored on the importing device. When using iCloud sync on another device, download the recordings you want before going offline.
How do I use the Home Screen widget?
Add the Panda Sit widget through your iPhone’s Home Screen widget gallery. Open Panda Sit and play a downloaded meditation first. The widget can then resume or pause your most recent recording.
How do I share a meditation or folder?
Choose Share a copy from its context menu, then Prepare copy. Send a file through the system share sheet, or choose iCloud sharing. The recipient needs Panda Sit. An Apple Account with iCloud is required for an iCloud link.
Your friend imports an independent copy. Later edits to your original library do not update theirs. Only share recordings you have permission to distribute.
What if iCloud isn’t syncing?
Check that you’re using the same Apple Account, iCloud Drive is enabled, and there is space in iCloud. Open Panda Sit’s library settings to check sync status and retry. Keep a network connection available for downloads and large uploads.
What happens when I delete a recording?
Deleting a meditation removes it from your synced Panda Sit library. The original file you imported from Files is unchanged. Copies already imported by a friend remain in their library.
Still need a hand?
Email support@pandasit.com with your app version, device model, and a short description of what happened. Please don’t send private recordings or Apple Account credentials.
